Individual Therapy
If you are interested in individual therapy, we can initially schedule a phone call to talk about what you are looking for. We would then schedule an initial consultation during which I will ask you a number of questions about your past and present. If, at the end of the consultation we agree that working together would be helpful to you, we will set up a regular, weekly meeting time. I have worked with people who struggle with the following issues: 
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Problems with intimacy and relationships
  • Concerns related to aging
  • Life transitions (e.g., to parenthood, college, retirement, or civilian life after military service)
  • PTSD and Trauma (including sexual trauma, relational trauma, and the trauma of systemic oppression)
  • Grief and loss
  • Childhood abuse

Couples Therapy
Couples who are interested in therapy can schedule a phone call to talk about their needs. We would then schedule an initial consultation. I typically like to first meet with the couple, then each member individually. After the individual sessions, we will come back together, and I will share my observations and get feedback from you. If we all agree that working together would benefit you, we will establish a weekly meeting time.
